As a Back-end Developer at CloudBilling, you will work with a technically interesting product. With CloudBilling, we enable our clients to automatically import usage, calculate, generate and send invoices of their SaaS solutions or Cloud Services. This is possible with the CloudBilling Engine, which can handle high volumes and complex data streams.

We want our people to come up with new ideas, challenge the made decisions and, if necessary, introduce new technologies. Together with the other developers, you will realize further technical growth of the product. But Billing is just the start. With all the registered usage, we collect lots of data. Our BI-solution gives insights in customer behavior and product performance. With that, our clients gain insights in the ever-changing market situations.

You start your work by picking a work item from the backlog in Azure DevOps. You then create a new git branch and start work in Visual Studio. Once you’re happy with your changes and have verified your changes locally, you push your branch which kicks off a build on the continuous integration server. Then your code is reviewed by a peer and merged on the master branch. This triggers an automated deployment using Octopus Deploy to the acceptance environment. After verifying with the product owner, your change is then automatically deployed to the production environment without any downtime.

The starting point

As a Back-end Developer at CloudBilling, you know what you want. You are ready for a challenge, you help others and want to express your opinions. You pick up things which need to be done and look over your own responsibilities. You also possess:

  • A finished bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related studies;
  • 1-3 years of experience as a (Back-end) Developer;
  • Experience in C#, ASP.NET MVC;
  • Experience with databases (SQL and MongoDB is a plus);
  • Experience in TypeScript and Ember.js is a plus;
